Emotional Instability Set to Music

I always wished life was a musical so I thought I'd put some of the feelings I'm experiencing to music. I'm being completely self indulgent so you might want to skip this one.

What emotion is wanting to drench someone in gasoline? That one:

In other words, I'm a hot mess. I keep thinking the worse is over and then I find myself crying all over again.

  1. I find that listening to angry music and not sad music makes me feel better. All the "fuck you" music I can find will bring me up for a bit. The sad stuff makes me sob, and I basically just end up torturing myself.

  2. I agree, but I feel like I need to be sad before I can be angry. I don't know if that makes sense.

  3. Well, I've heard that anger is just sort of a symptom of other emotions anyway. Usually sadness, so it would make sense to need to experience both.

  4. I've heard the same thing too! I should look it up. lol

  5. Some good tunes to go with your emotions there... I may steal your idea and do this too... i putting music to things like this!!

BTW love the Benjamin Disraeli quote on the side bar... always make me think of Family Guy though....

I do hope you know who he is? lol

  6. It's one of the reasons I miss making mixed tapes. I love how you can share emotions with music rather than just words.

All I know about Disraeli is that he was Prime Minister and wrote a book about the working conditions in England or something like that. I wouldn't have known that if not for some random book I read though lol.

  7. He was also the first Prime Minister of Jewish Ancestry! Mix Tapes Alana!!! Your showing your age... and i feel mine cos i used to do that too... as well as taping songs of the radio!!! Cassettes were awesome!

  8. Taping songs off the radio was the best haha. I'm embarrassed to admit my car has a cassette player.

  9. Hey, my car has a cassette player! Granted, I mostly use it to play my ipod with one of those adapter things, but I still have some of my old mix tapes.

  10. Everyone our age did it i think... we learned skills like beating the DJ ie stopping the cassette just before he/she spoke lol

Cassettes now make awesome belt buckles.... I am ashamed to say i dont own any cassettes or cassette players anymore.... At least books are still going!

What's on your mind?
