As most of you know, I've been in California for the last few days. It was great seeing my family and friends but I'm also happy to be home. I noticed I felt like I was going home on my way to San Diego and on my way to Salt Lake. It's kind of a strange feeling when I think about it, but I suppose that's just the way it is when you move away from all your loved ones. I also found out that five days can feel like both a heartbeat and a millennium. I guess there's just no pleasing me.
Here are some pictures from the trip. I took far too many, but these will give you some idea of the fun we had.
This trip was Holden's first time on an airplane and visiting the beach. It was also my first time in New Mexico since we had to fly there before heading back to Salt Lake. While it was mostly uneventful, I did have some amazing chicken enchiladas at the Sheraton in Albuquerque. Plus the view from the plan was the most beautiful I've seen so far. The clouds were incredible and I felt like I was a Care Bear. All in all we had a lot of fun and I can't wait to go back.
Now it's back to the daily grind.
