Rand Paul Supporter Stomps Head of Woman

Wow. This is pretty intense:

What pisses me off the most, is the bland and indifferent statement Rand Paul's campaign issued:
We understand that there was an altercation outside of the debate between supporters of both sides and that is incredibly unfortunate. Violence of any kind has no place in our civil discourse and we urge supporters on all sides to be civil to one another as tensions rise heading toward this very important election. We are relieved to hear that the woman in question was not injured.
Mark Riddle, a senior adviser for the Conway campaign (Paul's challenger) is much more eloquent:
Everyone is hoping she is okay and I don't think anybody believes this sort of behavior is tolerable. We can disagree on issues and be passionate about them but I don't think there is any room for someone throwing a young lady to the ground and stomping her on the head no matter how much they disagree with her.
Apaprently the police are trying to identify the man in the video, but as of now they aren't sure who he is. What a piece of shit. You can read more here.

Update: The man has been identified as Tim Profitt and apparently he would like an apology. I am not joking.

  1. This morning Fox (let's not even put 'News' at the end of Fox) allows Rand Paul to claim it was just passionate people jockeying back and forth at the rally. The full video clearly shows this women getting clobbered by several men. Fox shows edited video as the attractive host nods in affirmation of Paul... And so the propaganda continues.

  2. That's reprehensible but not surprising at all. I have no idea how can bear watching Fox. You're a braver soul than I!

  3. I don't watch Fox. I get their propaganda highlights from a few different liberal sites that watch Fox.

What's on your mind?
