I'm Not a Witch

Is there a better way to start a campaign ad? I don't think so.

  1. That made me giggle.

That whole witchcraft thing that blew up about her has been pretty silly. My favorite Pagan news blog seemed to think people shouldn't make such a big deal about it (plus she's about as far from witchy as you can get), and I suppose I can agree that witches should be allowed to run for office on the merit of their positions, just like anyone else, but even that's taking her too seriously, in my opinion. I do find it funny that anyone's treating it as an actual problem, along with the fact that she seems genuinely concerned enough about it to start a campaign video that way. The only people who are afraid she's a witch are people who know nothing about witchcraft, but they can rest assured, she ain't one of ours!

The more I think about it, the more I laugh. It's like a mini Salem witch trial on the right (minus the death), and some of them actually mean it! I guess some wingnuts will believe anything...

  2. You know, I didn't even think of it in that way but you're absolutely right. Even though O'Donnell is a complete joke, if she really was a witch it shouldn't matter. And wingnuts will believe anything. We have the posters of our Kenyan Muslim President with Hitler mustaches to prove it. lol

  3. I am so at of the loop on American news.... But yeah great way to start and ad!! lol I here she is abit of a witch tho!

  4. Hello stranger! What a time to be in politics. There seems to be a never ending bounty of crazies. lol

  5. The whole silly business reminds me of this bit from Monty Python: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrzMhU_4m-g

What's on your mind?
