Like a Dog

I'm sure you've heard about the hoopla about President Obama saying his critics "talk about me like a dog" and whether or not he was being facetious by quoting Jimi Hendrix or whether he just personally feels that way (though it could be both).

Here's the clip just in case you haven't:

I don't know. There is something about the way he says the phrase and the smirk he has that makes me think he is indeed quoting Hendrix.

And if I didn't use this opportunity to post some Hendrix, Ryan would be very disappointed.

"Stone Free:"

Later in the speech Obama said:
"They’re betting that between now and November, you’ll come down with a case of amnesia," Obama said. "They think you’ll forget what their agenda did to this country. They think you’ll just believe that they’ve changed. These are the folks whose policies helped devastate our middle class and drive our economy into a ditch. And now they’re asking you for the keys back."
Unfortunately, according to recent Gallup Polls a case of massive amnesia may just sweep our country.

Edit: I was wrong about poll (at least partly). While the Republicans did have a ten point lead, that lead has now completely evaporated. You can read more here.
