Cool pix! I love a good Renaissance Faire - most of them are not authentically renaissance, but they're still fun. The chamber choir I'm a member of does a Renaissance Feast every Christmas where we dress up in costume and sing period music on a period set while the audience eats a Christmas feast. It's lots of fun!

Ha ha! I have a picture of that "Mom, Dad, I'm Gaelic" coaster! I took it at the Scottish Games that are held near Sacramento every April.
ReplyDeleteI kinda/sorta dated a boy who did Ren Faires in college, and it's a LIFESTYLE. Some people get really into it. Same with Civil War reenactors.
